Inquiry question:what is tone? How can I apply tone to create a 3D image

Reflection: 

• What did you do in the lesson?

I have shaded a hand to make it look 3D.

• What did you learn?

I have learnt about the difference between a 2B and an HB pencils, the HB pencil is a pencil that we normally use but a 2B is a pencil that is a little bit darker. 

• how did you apply tone?

I have used the side of the pencil so it doesn't look like scratches. when we want it to be darker you press harder with the pencil.
